Experiment preparation

1. Material preparation: Prepare an appropriate amount of positive electrode material (such as lithium cobaltate), negative electrode material (such as graphite), conductive agent (such as carbon black), binder (such as PVDF) and solvent (such as NMP).

2. Tool preparation: In addition to the Cylindrical battery automatic tableting machine, it is also necessary to prepare electronic scales, stirrers, gloves and other auxiliary tools.

3.Environment preparation: Ensure that the operation area is clean and dust-free, and that the temperature and humidity meet the technical requirements to avoid the impact of static electricity and dust. The operation area should be equipped with a ventilation system to prevent the accumulation of harmful gases.

Experimental procedure

Raw material mixing:

1. Use electronic scale to accurately weigh the required positive electrode material, negative electrode material, conductive agent and binder.

2. Put the measured material into the blender, add the appropriate amount of solvent (such as NMP), start the blender to ensure that the components are evenly mixed to form a uniform slurry.

Slurry coating:

1. Pour the mixed slurry into the hopper of the Cylindrical battery automatic tableting machine.

2. Set the appropriate coating parameters, including coating speed, coating thickness and drying temperature. According to the characteristics of the slurry and the requirements of the electrode sheet, small batch test can be carried out first, adjusted to the best state and then formally put into production.

3. Start the automatic film-making machine, and the slurry is evenly coated on the substrate (such as aluminum foil or copper foil) through the coating device.

Drying treatment:

1. The coated electrode sheet enters the drying device and is dried according to the set temperature and time to ensure that the slurry is fully cured.

2. During the drying process, you can monitor the drying effect through the observation window to ensure that the electrode surface is flat and no bubbles.

Electrode cutting:

1. Take the dried electrode sheet out of the drying device and enter the cutting device.

2. Set proper cutting parameters, including cutting length and width. Ensure that the cut electrodes have the same size and neat edges.

3. Start the cutting procedure, and the cutting device will automatically complete the cutting of the electrode sheet. The cut electrodes are automatically collected into the specified container.

Quality inspection:

1. Carefully check each cut electrode sheet to ensure uniform thickness, smooth surface, no cracks and impurities.

2. Use tools such as microscope and thickness gauge for detailed inspection and record relevant data.

Performance test:

Some samples were randomly selected for electrochemical performance test to evaluate key indicators such as specific capacity and internal resistance of the electrode sheet.
