Experiment preparation
Material preparation: Prepare an appropriate amount of assembled cylindrical lithium battery semi-finished products, including the battery that has completed the assembly of positive and negative electrode pieces, electrolyte injection and initial packaging.
Tools: In addition to the cylindrical battery sealer, prepare auxiliary tools such as gloves, scissors, and rulers.
Environment preparation: Ensure that the operation area is clean and dust-free, and that the temperature and humidity meet the technical requirements to avoid the impact of static electricity and dust. The operating area should be equipped with an inert gas (such as argon) protection system to prevent the battery from reacting with air contact.
Experimental procedure
Battery pretreatment:
The assembled cylindrical lithium battery semi-finished product is placed on the operating table to check whether there is leakage or other defects.
Confirm the initial packaging effect of the battery, and ensure that the aluminum shell fits well with the internal components of the battery, without bubbles and leaky sealing.
Parameter setting:
According to the battery specifications and sealing requirements, set the sealing parameters of the cylinder battery sealing machine, including sealing temperature, sealing time and sealing pressure.
It can be tested in small batches first and adjusted to the best state before being formally put into production.
Battery loading:
Place the battery on the workbench of the cylindrical battery sealer to ensure the correct and stable position of the battery.
Adjust the fixture to keep the battery in place and avoid moving during the sealing process.
Sealing operation:
Start the sealing procedure, and the sealing device will automatically seal the opening of the battery.
Ensure that the sealing line is continuous, smooth and free of bubbles. When the sealing is complete, the sealing device automatically returns.
Check the sealed battery to ensure that the sealing line is not leaky or burnt.
Quality inspection:
Carefully check each piece of sealed cylindrical lithium battery to ensure that the sealing line has no leakage seal, no bubbles, no burning and other undesirable phenomena.
Use tools such as microscopes and thickness gauges for detailed inspection and record relevant data.
Performance test:
Some samples were randomly selected for charge-discharge cycle test to evaluate the key indicators such as capacity retention rate and internal resistance.
Record the test results and analyze the effect of sealing on battery performance.
