Experiment preparation
Material preparation: Prepare an appropriate amount of assembled soft-pack lithium battery semi-finished products, including the batteries that have completed the assembly of positive and negative electrode sheets, electrolyte injection, and initial packaging.
Tools: In addition to the pole ear welding cutting machine, prepare auxiliary tools such as gloves, scissors, and ruler.
Environment preparation: Ensure that the operation area is clean and dust-free, and that the temperature and humidity meet the technical requirements to avoid the impact of static electricity and dust.
Experimental procedure
Battery pretreatment:
Place the assembled soft-pack lithium battery semi-finished product on the operating table to check whether there is leakage or other defects.
Confirm the initial packaging effect of the battery, ensure that the aluminum plastic film and the battery body fit well, no bubbles and leakage sealing phenomenon.
Pole preparation:
Prepare appropriate amount of pole material to ensure that the specifications and quality of the pole material meet the requirements.
Cut the pole material to desired length and shape and set aside.
Pole ear welding:
Place the cut pole ear material on the work table of the pole ear welding machine to ensure the correct and stable position of the pole ear.
Set the appropriate welding parameters, including current, time and pressure. According to the characteristics of the electrode material, it can be tested in small batches first and adjusted to the best state before being formally put into production.
Start the welding procedure, and the electrode welding machine will automatically complete the welding between the electrode and the battery electrode. Ensure that the welding point is smooth and firm, no virtual welding, short circuit phenomenon.
Pole ear cutting:
After the welding is completed, the pole ear welding cutting machine will automatically switch to the cutting mode.
Set appropriate cutting parameters, including cutting length and position. Make sure the cut ears are the same length and the edges are neat.
Start the cutting procedure, the pole ear welding cutting machine will automatically complete the pole ear cutting. Ensure that the cut pole ear has no burrs or cracks.
Quality inspection:
Carefully check each piece of welded and cut soft pack lithium battery to ensure that the pole ear welding points are smooth and firm, the length of the cut pole ear is consistent, and the edge is neat.
Use tools such as microscopes and vernier calipers for detailed inspection and record relevant data.
Performance test:
Some samples were randomly selected for charge-discharge cycle test to evaluate the key indicators such as capacity retention rate and internal resistance.
The test results were recorded and the influence of electrode welding and cutting on battery performance was analyzed.
