Experiment preparation
Material preparation: Prepare an appropriate amount of assembled soft-pack lithium battery semi-finished products, including the batteries that have completed the assembly of positive and negative electrode sheets, electrolyte injection, and initial packaging.
Tools: In addition to the secondary vacuum final sealing machine, prepare auxiliary tools such as scissors, ruler, and gloves.
Environment preparation: Ensure that the operation area is clean and dust-free, and that the temperature and humidity meet the technical requirements to avoid the impact of static electricity and dust.
Experimental procedure
Battery pretreatment: Place the assembled soft-pack lithium battery semi-finished product on the operating table to check whether there is leakage or other defects.
Initial seal inspection: Confirm the initial packaging effect of the battery, ensure that the aluminum plastic film and the battery body fit well, no bubbles and leakage seal phenomenon.
Secondary vacuum final seal:
Place the battery in the working room of the secondary vacuum final sealing machine and close the studio door.
Start the vacuum pump, gradually vacuum to the set value (usually about 10^-2 Pa), keep for a period of time to completely remove the gas and water inside the battery.
Start the heating system, set the appropriate heating temperature and time according to the battery specifications, so that the aluminum-plastic film reaches the molten state.
Activate the sealing device to seal the edge of the battery. Ensure that the sealing line is continuous, smooth and free of bubbles.
After the sealing is completed, the vacuum is slowly released to restore the normal pressure environment.
Open the studio door and remove the encapsulated battery.
Quality inspection: Carefully check each piece of packaged soft pack lithium battery to ensure that the sealing line has no leakage seal, no bubbles, no burning and other undesirable phenomena.
Performance test: Random sampling of some samples for charge and discharge cycle test, evaluate the battery capacity retention rate, internal resistance and other key indicators.
