Experiment preparation
Material preparation: Prepare an appropriate amount of assembled soft-pack lithium battery semi-finished products, including the batteries that have completed the assembly of positive and negative electrode sheets and the initial packaging.
Tools: In addition to the automatic liquid injection sealing machine, prepare auxiliary tools such as gloves, scissors, and rulers.
Environment preparation: Ensure that the operation area is clean and dust-free, and that the temperature and humidity meet the technical requirements to avoid the impact of static electricity and dust. The operating area should be equipped with an inert gas (such as argon) protection system to prevent the electrolyte from reacting in contact with the air.
Experimental procedure
Battery pretreatment:
Place the assembled soft-pack lithium battery semi-finished product on the operating table to check whether there is leakage or other defects.
Confirm the initial packaging effect of the battery, ensure that the aluminum plastic film and the battery body fit well, no bubbles and leakage sealing phenomenon.
Liquid injection parameter setting:
According to the battery specifications and electrolyte type, set the injection parameters of the automatic injection sealer, including injection volume, injection speed and injection pressure.
It can be tested in small batches first and adjusted to the best state before being formally put into production.
Automatic injection:
Place the battery on the work table of the automatic injection sealer to ensure the correct and stable position of the battery.
Start the injection procedure, and the injection needle will be automatically inserted into the injection hole of the battery to accurately inject the specified amount of electrolyte.
After the injection is completed, the injection needle automatically exits to ensure that the electrolyte is evenly distributed inside the battery.
Pre-sealing treatment:
Move the battery after injection to the sealing station to ensure the correct position of the injection hole.
Check whether there is electrolyte residue on the battery surface. If necessary, gently wipe with absorbent paper.
Automatic sealing:
Set sealing parameters, including sealing temperature, sealing time, and sealing pressure.
Start the sealing procedure, and the sealing device will automatically seal the injection hole of the battery. Ensure that the sealing line is continuous, smooth and free of bubbles.
After the sealing is completed, the sealing device is automatically returned and the battery is removed from the workbench.
Quality inspection:
Carefully check each piece of soft pack lithium battery after injection and sealing to ensure that the sealing line has no leakage sealing, no bubbles, no burning and other undesirable phenomena.
Use tools such as microscopes and thickness gauges for detailed inspection and record relevant data.
Performance test:
Some samples were randomly selected for charge-discharge cycle test to evaluate the key indicators such as capacity retention rate and internal resistance.
The test results were recorded and the effects of injection and sealing on battery performance were analyzed.
